Just Play

When was the last time you played?
When was the last time you were caught up in a playful moment and enjoyed it.

Most people are under the misconception that once you’re past teenagehood playing is something that should be scratched off the book of life. Life becomes but a dull traumatic experience of chores, overthinking, stress, worries, bills, work, work and more work. Which makes adulthood less of a life but more of a struggle. Some even call it a scam, a bloody setup. But is it really supposed to be so? I doubt it very much. If yes, then please bring me the idiot who wrote the adulthood guiding rules and I’ll cut his head off myself (jokes but I’ll definitely find a less murderous way to punish him into rewriting the life guiding terms and conditions)

There is a saying that l once heard in a movie titled Tag.
( Tag is a 2018 American comedy film directed by Jeff Tomsic (in his feature directorial debut) and written by Rob McKittrick and Mark Steilen. The film is based on a true story that was published in The Wall Street Journal about a group of grown men, played by Ed Helms, Jake Johnson, Hannibal Buress, Jon Hamm, and Jeremy Renner, who had spent one month a year playing the game of tag since their childhood) .

The saying goes like ” We don’t stop playing because we grow old but we grow old because we stop playing”

Which is very true. Don’t you think?

The less you play the faster you get old, the faster your body deteriorates and die.
I dare you to awake the child in you whenever you can. Just play. Play with your workmates, play with your friends, play with your kids, play with yourself (please don’t take the play with yourself part wrong Hahaha if you know what l mean) play everywhere and anywhere, at work, at home etc. Put aside everything that is considered grown and mature and have a moment of playfulness.
